Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business, supply chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customs compliance, KYC, logistics, trade operations or related function.
• Strong written English to produce audit-ready documentation.
• Ability to work independently with a U.S.-based manager.
• Experience with SAP/GTS or a comparable global trade platform.
• Exposure to EAR, OFAC sanctions programs, or Malaysia’s Strategic Trade Act.
• Background in semiconductor, electronics, technology, medical device, logistics, or multinational shared-services sectors.

Responsibilities

• Vet potential customers and transaction parties through KYC and due diligence to determine engagement suitability and surface risks.
• Review, release, document, or escalate compliance holds in SAP/GTS or similar systems to keep transactions compliant.
• Review End-Use Statements for red flags and diversion risk.
• Trace ownership structures to ultimate parent to identify country-of-concern control.
• Assign HTS codes for new products through data capture and documentation.
• Prepare ECCN packages for review with Trade Compliance teams.
• Maintain audit-ready records of screening decisions, escalations, and diligence findings.
