Job summary

DXN Holdings Bhd is seeking a Global Support Executive (Engineering) to lead engineering support for factory expansion and process improvements. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, work with overseas manufacturing teams, and help design layouts and facilities to support new machinery while maintaining ISO clean room standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Malaysian citizen or hold valid residence status.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience reading engineering drawings; AutoCAD experience is an advantage.
• Willing to travel and be posted to overseas factories in Southeast Asia, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support in the set up of a new factory at an overseas operating unit based on operations and standards at Jitra HQ.
• Coordinate and standardize preventive maintenance procedures among global factory operations.
• Work together with the overseas manufacturing team on process or product related matter and assist in trouble shooting / improvement.
• Communicate and follow up with machine suppliers on the development, installation and commissioning of new machinery at all factories.
• Able to design suitable machine layout according to production requirements and ensure that the building and facilities are able to support the machine in terms of electricity, water supply and structural soundness.
• Ensure the HVAC system can fulfill ISO 8 or higher clean room standards whilst able to recommend correct specification for building demands.
• Ensure water supply to production is well within specification.
• Ensure electrical supply meets production demand based on local authority guidelines.
• Able to identify potentially hazardous waste generation from multiple sources and rectify the issues that arise.
• Ensure environmental sustainability is available and is in line with company’s vision and mission.
• To improve and optimize current processing line to keep up with the latest innovation in Malaysia factories and ultimately, the overseas operating unit.

Requirements

• Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status
• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering/equivalent.
• Able to read and decipher engineering & machine drawings. Experience in handling AutoCAD software is an added advantage.
• Will be based in a factory in Jitra, Kedah initially and willing to travel or be posted to an overseas factory (Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America & Africa).
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Fluent in English - spoken and written
• Have basic knowledge of QMS such as HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22716 etc
• Able to work independently and travel to other countries with minimum supervision.
• Strong leadership & supervisory skills, excellent in problem solving, good communication & interpersonal skills, aggressive.
• Technical machine knowledge is required. Knowledge of pharmaceutical machines is an added advantage
