Job summary

Schlumberger Limited is seeking a Sourcing Specialist in Malaysia to implement sourcing plans for assigned portfolios, maximize supplier performance, and support the business plan in the GeoUnit.

You will review contracts, conduct RFIs and Q/P processes, and work with Category Managers to select and qualify suppliers. Strong communication and SAP exposure are advantageous in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management/ Supply Chain/ Business Administration.
• Having exposure in SAP will be an added advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors.
• Capacity to perform highly, both individually and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all organizational levels.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate supplier contracts and terms.
• Award and implement sourcing projects.
• Conduct information requests and RFI/Q/P processes.
• Identify and assign products and materials for portfolios.
• Launch sourcing projects and drive cost, quality and lead time improvements.
• Document performance and timelines for actions.
• Select high‑performing suppliers and conduct supplier reviews and audits.
• Coordinate with Sourcing Manager and Contract Specialists on negotiations.
• Drive qualification processes with Supplier Quality teams.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and optimize resources.
