Job summary

WIN SOURCE, a global electronic components distributor, is seeking a Purchasing Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead sourcing and supplier development across international suppliers. You will manage RFQs, negotiate terms, and assess risks to strengthen global supply chain resilience.

The role requires strategic thinking, a strong network of suppliers, and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive value on an international platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electronic components procurement or related supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of global electronic component supply markets and major sourcing channels.
• Established supplier relationships with ability to develop and maintain sourcing channels.
• Ability to evaluate supplier value and risks across manufacturers and distributors.
• Strong negotiation, supplier evaluation and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of product authenticity, traceability and supply chain risk management.

Responsibilities

• Global Supplier Development: develop and maintain global electronic component suppliers.
• Strategic Sourcing: expand sourcing channels for key components to improve supply diversity and competitiveness.
• Supply Chain Security: evaluate supplier reliability, traceability and risks with quality teams.
• Procurement & Commercial Negotiation: manage RFQs, price negotiations, lead-time confirmation and terms.
• Market Intelligence: monitor semiconductor market trends, inventory changes, pricing dynamics and life cycles.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build long-term partnerships to improve competitiveness and resilience.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with sales, logistics, and quality teams on sourcing needs.
• Supply Network Optimization: optimize supplier structures for flexibility and reliability.
