Lynas Rare Earths Limited in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Strategic Sourcing Commercial Specialist to lead global sourcing projects and deliver sustainable value across the supply chain. The role provides commercial and legal support and oversees supplier management to ensure governance and compliance.

Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, driving TCO, benchmarking, and building strong relationships with strategic suppliers. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing, commercial management, or related functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; legal qualification is desirable.
• Strong experience in commercial strategy, contract negotiation, supplier management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead global commercial and strategic sourcing projects from planning to handover.
• Provide commercial and legal support on contracts and supplier terms.
• Drive cost optimisation via TCO, spend analysis, benchmarking and supplier strategy.
• Develop commercial strategies, evaluate bids, lead negotiations and business cases.
