Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Malaysia is seeking a senior network engineer to manage global network operations and large-scale projects. The role demands expert networking knowledge, multi-site experience, and leadership in migration efforts across APAC.

The position emphasizes operational excellence, close collaboration with cybersecurity, and ongoing research of new tools to improve team efficiency.

Qualifications

12+ years progressive network engineering experience
CCNP/JNCIP/CCIE/JNCIE level or higher
Data Center experience required
Fortinet experience advantageous
Strong Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting
Experience leading large migrations and project plans
Azure Networking knowledge beneficial
On-call rotation and travel up to 5–10%

Responsibilities

BAU network support during APAC hours
Lead large scale network migrations in APAC
Drive improvements to processes and procedures
Collaborate to design, build, and support networks for corporate and security/building systems
Create and enforce standard SLAs and documentation
Manage asset tracking and inventory for network gear
Maintain global network infrastructure and resolve issues
Lead large-scale projects with clear plans and updates
