Job summary

Nexperia in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross-site semiconductor projects, define budgets, timelines and resources, and report progress to stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and global collaboration.

You will drive cost-down programs, outsourcing strategies and supply resilience while coordinating with product management and engineering teams to deliver world-class results.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years leading complex projects in semiconductors or similar industry.
• Experience with state-of-the-art project management tools and their application.
• PMP/PMI or Prince2 certification preferred.
• Ability to lead global, intercultural project teams.

Responsibilities

• Create initial Business Case together with Product Management.
• Define competencies and resources needed and build up a performing project team.
• Team leadership for multisite industrial, outsourcing or optimization projects teams.
• Define project plans, resources needed and assign work packages within projects.
• Report project progress using milestones and gates towards stakeholders.
• Monitor project budget and timeline.
• Manage escalations towards stakeholders and/or Project Review Board.
• Drive Industrial activities/programs in cost-down, outsourcing and supply resilience.
