Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Senior Security Leader for Penang, Malaysia. This role leads site security operations, aligns with global priorities, and manages guards, access control, and CCTV while coordinating incident response.

You will oversee vendor governance, audits, and risk assessments, embedding security into manufacturing and change initiatives. You will partner with Manufacturing, EHSS, HR, IT, Legal, and Quality to ensure compliant, proactive security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8–12 years of industry experience.
• 2–5 years of management or lead experience.
• Experience with security in manufacturing/regulated environments.
• Experience with outsourcing security providers and SLAs.
• Knowledge of CTear (CTPAT) and RBA expectations is preferred.
• Proficiency in English; Bahasa Malaysia preferred.

Responsibilities

• You lead security for Penang translating global priorities into objectives and service standards.
• You manage daily physical security ops including guards, access control, CCTV, and incident response.
• You determine deployment of resources to meet schedules and goals.
• You lead vendor governance, SLAs, staffing validation, and corrective actions.
• Lead site security risk assessments, incident reviews, audits, and remediation plans.
• You coordinate with site leadership and external agencies during incidents.
• You partner with multiple functions to integrate security into operations.
• You oversee investigations support and preserve evidence and confidentiality.
• You establish site KPIs and report on risk, incidents, readiness, and costs.
