Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a strategic General Manager to lead internal school operations and provide executive leadership across Finance, HR, ICT and Facilities in a global education context. The role reports to the C-suite and board, shaping growth and ensuring regulatory compliance within a leading International School group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or professional qualification preferred.
• Extensive experience in senior-level operations management.
• Proven track record in International School/Higher Education or fast-paced MNC focused on service delivery and complex stakeholder management.
• Experience managing global/international stakeholders.
• Strong background in Finance, HR, ICT, Facilities.
• Ability to report directly to C-suite and Board levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal school operations, align departmental goals with long-term organizational strategy, and foster collaboration between administrative teams and expatriate academic staff.
• Oversee annual budget preparation, monitor financial performance against spend, enforce internal accounting controls, and streamline purchasing functions.
• Manage workforce planning, drive ICT process efficiency, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations, government guidelines, and accreditation bodies.
• Oversee facilities maintenance, infrastructure development projects, and health, safety, security, and environmental risk policies.
