Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Global Reporting & Analytics Intern - Functions.
An internship placement to work on various tasks within the Global Reporting & Analytics (GR&A) function at our global hub located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Training will be provided in various ways and performance evaluation will be performed for this role. Performance review scopes included working attitude, communication skills, knowledge, and work quality. This role will have the opportunity to support the team in delivering work that is immediately impactful throughout the organization to an audience that includes our leaders in the company.
The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As Global Reporting & Analytics Intern - Functions, you will have the opportunity to:
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial data.
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing data.
Support month-end management reporting processes and analysis
Perform variance analysis to identify trends and provide insights.
Participate in regular business-driven meetings to observe and contribute.
Work with team members to identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing solutions.
Help maintain and update financial models and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to process improvement projects.
Support compliance efforts by contributing to organizational regulations, SOX, and Internal Audit controls.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
Students majoring in Finance, Accounting or related study.
Proactive individuals with ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge with SAP / financial modeling is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn.
