Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated seeks an EQA Practice Leader to represent Enterprise Quality Assurance in APAC, directing hands‑on quality engineering across agile product teams for multiple domains under an SVP. Lead standard test strategies, mentor QA professionals, and shape a big‑picture QA automation roadmap.

The role bridges EQA and delivery leadership, coordinating with Product Owners and Technical teams to align testing with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BA/BS) or technology.
• 15+ years leading quality assurance with SDLC experience and 7+ years in leadership.
• Experience attracting, leading and developing staff across geographies.
• Proven track record leading large, distributed QA teams.
• Extensive QA methodologies, tools and processes experience.
• Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure), containers (Docker) and distributed environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Creative, customer‑centric mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Expert in QA engineering, test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on knowledge of functional and non‑functional testing tools and practices.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Generative AI in QA use cases.

Responsibilities

• Strategic quality planning aligning with company goals and KPIs.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce automation debt.
• Oversee quality engineering, testing protocols, data management testing and test automation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Information Management, EA, Enablement and Operations.
• Define and enforce standardized test strategies for Agile delivery.
• Measure QA effectiveness via defined metrics and reporting.
• Promote in‑sprint automation mindset across teams.
• Ensure consistent defect management and triage across the delivery centers.
