ZI LIAN (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD seeks a skilled Purchaser based in Melaka to drive sourcing, procurement and inventory management for our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations. You will handle contract negotiations, supplier liaison and cross-functional collaboration to optimise purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, analyzing market trends and coordinating shipping documentation for overseas trading.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a procurement role.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving to optimise purchasing decisions.
• Thorough understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, components and services for production and operations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounts, and Engineering teams.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supplier performance.
• Maintain accurate records for all purchasing activities.
