Responsibilities

Build and maintain the production schedule, tracking output against targets.
Coordinate material releases to the shop floor so operations can execute without delay.
Keep work-in-progress at healthy levels and cycle times on target.
Review aged inventory on a regular cadence and drive disposition decisions.
Respond to escalations by weighing customer urgency against production capacity.
Act as a backup across related planning functions when teammates are out.
Partner with the business unit lead on continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate across departments — sales, operations, quality — on planning matters.
Build reporting decks and materials for leadership reviews.
