Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG in Penang seeks a Product Manager to own the ADV Valves portfolio, drive lifecycle, profitability, and roadmap to deliver customer-focused solutions and accelerate time-to-market through strategic leadership.

The role requires coordinating multiple product developments, providing technical support to sales and customers, and shaping pricing and market strategies for international customers. Fluency in English is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering.
• Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience in economics or marketing is advantageous.
• Strong experience managing international customers and projects.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Experience in product management is preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute lifecycle activities for VAT's ADV Valves.
• Implement value pricing and value propositions for customer requests.
• Provide technical product support to sales teams and customers.
• Prepare profitability analyses and drive cost reduction.
• Coordinate multiple product developments per roadmap.
• Initiate product relocations with customer approvals.
• Collaborate with VAT BUs to leverage synergies.
• Identify market trends and translate to product needs.
• Support sales with training, customer acquisition and presentations.
• Create technical documentation and data sheets per regs.
