Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Typically 7 years procurement/supply management experience; sourcing direct or indirect materials.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba; strong analytical skills and inventory evaluation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently to achieve results.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage procurement of materials from a global supply base to support worldwide requirements.
• Assure procurement and inventory management of high technology or life sciences materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate material sourcing for new product introduction (NPI) projects with R&D; manage supplier relationships and commodity plans.
• Establish and maintain professional supplier relationships and manage delivery expectations.
• Analyze MRP, determine order release methods, and maintain SAP material parameters and controls.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to develop and implement commodity strategy.
