Job summary

AGOS ASIA SDN BHD, Kuala Lumpur, seeks a Group Procurement Director reporting to the CFO. The role provides strategic leadership of the procurement function and partners with regional heads to drive consistency and best practices across the organisation.

You will own group-wide savings, supplier governance, and digital procurement transformation, defining policies, and enabling value delivery in a global, multi‑region setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Business Admin or related field
• Minimum 10 years of senior-level experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or related function within a complex international organisation
• Proven track record in developing and executing procurement strategy and operating models across multiple regions or business units

Responsibilities

• Define and implement group-wide procurement strategy, operating model, governance and policies across regions
• Own group-wide savings and Total Cost of Ownership targets and monitor realised benefits
• Establish group-wide category ownership and develop category strategies and playbooks
• Negotiate high-value, complex contracts with key suppliers and manage supplier performance
• Identify supply chain risks, ensure regulatory compliance and promote sustainable procurement
• Drive digitalisation and AI-enabled procurement transformation with spend visibility and standardised reporting
• Partner with Finance, Operations and other functions to define procurement KPIs and reporting
