Job summary

Morgan Philips Group is supporting a well-established organization in Malaysia to recruit an experienced Head of Procurement. You will lead end-to-end procurement, transform function into a strategic business partner, and drive sourcing excellence with category management and supplier strategy.

Reporting to the CFO, you will guide negotiations, governance and capability development to deliver value across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in procurement, including multi-year portfolios.
• Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies and drive savings.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of value delivery.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement transformation to a strategic partner to the business.
• Drive strategic sourcing, category management and supplier strategy.
• Lead negotiations, drive cost optimization and risk management.
• Develop supplier ecosystems and governance across complex spend.
• Partner with business leaders to align procurement with strategy.
• Oversee tenders, contracting and governance processes.
• Build and lead a high-performing procurement team.
