Role Synopsis
The Global Procurement Performance & Value Delivery Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a single, globally consistent view of procurement value delivery, spend performance and financial outcomes across ASPAC/ANZ, Europe and the Americas. The role provides clear, accurate and timely reporting that reflects the procurement value delivery framework being reported in Compass and is aligned to Finance standards and governance. Serving as the trusted bridge between Procurement and Finance, the role translates procurement activities into measurable, auditable and finance-aligned business outcomes for senior leadership decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
Global performance reporting and insights
- Own the global procurement performance reporting framework across ASPAC/ANZ, Europe and the Americas.
- Deliver accurate, timely and consistent reporting of procurement value delivery, spend performance, sourcing activity and key operational metrics.
- Provide executive-level reporting and insight packs for Procurement Leadership, Finance and business collaborators.
- Develop clear performance narratives that explain key trends, risks, opportunities and required actions.
- Ensure alignment between Compass reporting, regional dashboards and enterprise financial reporting outputs.
Value delivery governance and measurement
- Ensure alignment against the PVF for value measurement, savings validation, cost avoidance treatment, benefit attribution and reporting consistency.
- Validate savings, cost avoidance and value-realisation claims to ensure they are credible, defensible and consistently applied across regions.
- Drive adoption of common reporting standards, critical metric definitions and value governance processes globally.
- Ensure reported procurement benefits are transparent, auditable and aligned with Finance governance requirements.
Finance alignment and business partnering
- Supporting regional procurement leadership, partner where required, with Finance, FP&A and business leadership teams to reconcile procurement value delivery with financial outcomes.
- Partner with Category, Sourcing, Finance and business collaborators to validate and appropriately classify the financial impact of sourcing initiatives and procurement activities across P&L, cash flow, Capex and Opex, in accordance with approved Finance methodologies and governance requirements.
- Support forecasting, budgeting and business planning cycles through robust procurement performance insight. Identify, investigate and report material variances between forecast, contracted, reported and realised benefits, ensuring that corrective actions, risks and changes in assumptions are clearly documented and communicated.
- Challenge assumptions, methodologies and benefit calculations to ensure accurate attribution of value.
Global spend analytics and performance insight
- Maintain global visibility of supplier spend, business spend and procurement performance across regions and business units.
- Conduct advanced spend analytics, trend analysis, variance analysis and performance modelling to identify insights and opportunities.
- Identify root causes of performance variance and recommend corrective actions or areas for further intervention.
- Generate actionable insight across supplier spend, business spend, savings, value delivery, risk and operational metrics.
- Support category, regional and transformation teams with insight that links procurement activity to business value.
Reporting governance, data quality and process standardisation
- Act as custodian of procurement performance, spend and value reporting data.
- Drive improvements in data quality, integrity, transparency and consistency across reporting processes.
- Maintain reporting controls that increase confidence in management information and support auditability.
- Create and embed standardised reporting processes so regions work from one trusted version of performance data.
- Act as Procurement's primary point of contact for internal and external audits relating to procurement value delivery, savings reporting, spend performance and benefits realisation, coordinating responses with Category, Sourcing, Finance and business partners as required.
Digital enablement and automation
- Lead continuous improvement of procurement reporting, analytics and visualisation capability.
- Leverage digital tools, automation and analytics platforms to streamline reporting, reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
