Job summary

IQVIA Malaysia is seeking a Global Project Leader (Oncology) to drive end-to-end delivery of complex global oncology studies, ensuring quality, timelines and budget adherence.

You will be the primary sponsor contact, build strong client relationships, and lead cross-functional teams across regions including China, the US and Europe.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of project management experience in CRO/pharma and fluent English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in CRO/pharma.
• 7+ years independently leading global clinical projects/programs.
• Strong oncology clinical trial experience required.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex global oncology studies, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets.
• Serve as primary sponsor/stakeholder contact, building client relationships.
• Drive cross-functional global teams to achieve milestones and mitigate risks.
• Lead multinational trials across regions including China, US, and Europe.
• Influence results in a global matrix without direct reporting authority.
• Support business development with RFPs, bid defenses, and client presentations.
• Partner with sponsors to understand development strategies and deliver tailored solutions.
• Contribute to client retention, expansion, and new business opportunities.
