Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Senior NPI Engineer to lead the transition of new products from Development through Manufacturing release at the Kulim, Malaysia site. You will coordinate with R&D, Operations, and Production teams to ensure manufacturing readiness and successful product launches.

You will apply structured Stage-Gate processes, drive cost reduction, and manage cross-functional projects. International travel may be required as you partner with global facilities to ensure scalable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience actively pulling products into manufacturing while ensuring process and quality capability.
• Ability to create data-driven New Product Introduction (NPI) plans for long-term portfolio success.
• Project & Process Management: stage gate milestones and Accolade-style development.
• Bi-lingual with strong English communication; excellent technical writing skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP BOMs and routings.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple NPI projects using the Accolade Phase Gate tool.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and production teams to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Serve as the NPI liaison between Development Engineering and Operations, driving products from development to release.
• Work globally to transfer products/processes across sites.
• Develop and execute project plans including equipment selection, capacity planning, cost reduction, and waste management.
• Prepare process documentation and support qualification builds and product launches.
• Influence product/design decisions to ensure safe, high-quality, manufacturable solutions.
• Travel internationally as required.
