Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Senior Engineer for New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering at its Kulim, Malaysia site. The role leads the transition of new products from development through manufacturing release and global transfers, building strong cross-functional partnerships to drive scale-up.

You will solve complex manufacturing challenges, champion process improvements, and ensure safe, high-quality, manufacturable solutions across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Typically requires 5+ years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical skills to identify and resolve process gaps (welding, fabrication, physical testing, electro‑mechanical design).
• Experience pulling products into manufacturing while ensuring process and quality capability.
• Ability to create data-driven NPI plans for long‑term portfolio success.
• Experience with stage gate development methodologies (e.g., Accolade).
• Collaborative cross‑functional teamwork in global contexts.
• Bi‑lingual with strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple NPI projects across a fast-paced portfolio using the Accolade Phase Gate tool.
• Coordinate with R&D, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and production teams for manufacturing readiness and product launches.
• Serve as the NPI liaison between Development Engineering and Operations to drive product release.
• Travel internationally as required.
• Develop and execute project plans including equipment selection, capacity planning, and cost reduction.
• Prepare process documentation and support qualification builds and product launches.
• Influence product and process design to ensure safe, high‑quality, manufacturable solutions.
• Support cross‑regional transfers of processes from the US to Malaysia.
• Assist with audits and continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
