Job summary

Razer seeks a Merchant Onboarding Specialist to ensure seamless merchant onboarding onto our payment gateway and provide ongoing support to optimize payment processing. You will work across Freshdesk, documentation, KYC, and gateway configuration while collaborating with Compliance, Risk, and Product teams.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled automation, strong communications, and coordination across multiple internal teams to deliver a smooth onboarding experience for merchants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years in merchant operations, payment processing, or related fields.
• Thorough understanding of PCI-DSS regulations and compliance measures.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis proficiency.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own merchant onboarding and ongoing support to optimize payment processing.
• Guide merchants through onboarding: application, documentation, KYC, account setup, and gateway configuration.
• Monitor and follow up on onboarding queues and activation of merchant accounts.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Compliance, Risk, Sales, Product, Technical Support, QA to enable onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve onboarding and support processes.
• Resolve onboarding-related technical issues, gather information, troubleshoot, escalate as needed.
• Contribute to SOPs, knowledge bases, and merchant-facing documentation.
