Job summary

INFICON Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Materials Planner cum Import Export to oversee forecasting, inventory control, and cross-border logistics. You will coordinate with logistics, purchasing, engineering, and finance to optimize supply chain efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, SAP data maintenance, and strong collaboration across teams to improve materials management and trade compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in materials planning, import/export, or logistics roles.
• Experience with production planning, MRP, and inventory control.
• Strong knowledge of global trade, shipping regulations, tariff codes and Incoterms.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office; able to handle orders, shipping and invoicing.
• Strong English communication and data reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material forecasting, inventory control, and supplier coordination.
• Manage import/export logistics and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, engineering, and finance teams.
• Develop production plans, create purchase and production orders, and track deliveries.
• Maintain SAP data, MRP, and forecasts; optimize inventory and safety stock.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers to ensure on-time shipments.
• Ensure accurate documentation and audit-ready records for imports/exports.
• Drive process improvements in materials management and trade compliance.
