Job summary
AGOS Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Market Analyst (Global) to join the Group Commercial function. You will deliver market intelligence, commercial analysis, pricing insights, and strategic reporting across oil & gas and offshore renewables.
You will support bid decisions, opportunity prioritisation, and tender strategy, translating complex market data into actionable recommendations for senior management and the Board.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or engineering.
- Proven experience in Market Analysis, Commercial Analysis, Market Intelligence, or similar.
- Experience in oil & gas or energy sectors is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a structured global market intelligence framework.
- Research and analyse market developments in oil & gas and offshore renewables.
- Monitor client, competitor and market activity to strengthen positioning.
- Maintain and analyse the Group sales pipeline and CRM data across regions.
- Track upcoming projects, tenders and opportunities for prioritisation and forecasting.
- Develop pricing benchmarks using historical data and market rates.
- Prepare concise market, pipeline, pricing, and commercial reports for leadership.
- Support Board-level reporting with clear analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistent data and reporting.
