Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ship Management, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead initiatives end-to-end. You will coordinate with business teams, IT and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, change readiness and rigorous governance. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, organizational skills and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Understanding of change management, testing, implementation and operational readiness.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and actionable plans.
• Strong written and spoken English; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial idea through implementation and handover.
• Define objectives, scope, requirements, timelines and success metrics.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks and actions.
• Facilitate requirements gathering with operational teams, IT and vendors.
• Document current and future business processes and maintain governance records.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, training and go-live readiness.
• Ensure smooth transition to BAU and post-go-live support.
• Provide clear progress updates to sponsors and stakeholders.
