MKS Inc. seeks a Logistics Specialist to partner with Sales, CS and Planners to manage international logistics for Malaysia, with Singapore backup. You will handle import/export, 3PL oversight, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the SEA Logistics Team Lead.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience in logistics; chemical industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and international regulations for chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Manage import/export, customs clearance, warehouse and transport operations to meet KPIs.
• Oversee 3PL vendor performance including freight forwarders and brokers.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance (IMDG, IATA, licenses, labels, DG storage).
• Initiate cost-saving programs like route optimization and shipment consolidation.
• Coordinate with government representatives on import/export issues.
• Back up for logistics in Singapore and travel up to 10%.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock takes.
