Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to lead the strategic upgrade and ongoing support of PEC’s global IT systems from Penang, Malaysia. This senior role reports to the COO for Southeast Asia and requires hands-on leadership across security, reliability, and performance in a rapidly growing, multinational manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Master degree in IT or related field.
Hands-on IT infrastructure and network architecture experience in international environments.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus and familiarity with CAD systems is helpful.
Strong ITIL or service-management exposure and excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

Develop a highly reliable, secure, and efficient IT architecture upgrade aligned with business and manufacturing needs.
Provide technical leadership for enterprise application connectivity including ERP (SAP), CAD platforms, and Microsoft environments.
Protect company IP through advanced security systems and measures globally.
Troubleshoot complex, multi‑layer infrastructure and application performance across distributed sites.
Harmonize and standardize global IT processes, service levels, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Lead infrastructure lifecycle planning, modernization, and global improvement initiatives.
Travel regularly to international sites to support deployments and coordination.
