Job summary

Jabil in Penang, Batu Kawan, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead policy implementation, compliance, and strategic HR programs. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations while ensuring regulatory adherence and cost-effective people management.

The role requires strong communication, change management and analytics to support business goals across multiple functions within a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Master’s preferred.
• Nine years of relevant experience.
• Human Resources Management Certificate and/or PHR or SPHR desired.
• Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and implements HR policies and objectives.
• Promotes positive employer-employee relations and morale.
• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting affecting HR.
• Protects interests of employees and company per policies and laws.
• Defines and executes HR programs; provides education and materials to management and staff.
• Monitors recruitment and onboarding to ensure timely hires.
• Keeps managers informed of significant problems impacting objectives.
• Demonstrates commitment to customer service and resolves issues quickly.
• Exchanges knowledge with other facilities to share best practices.
• Reads and interprets technical, financial, and legal documents.
• Responds to inquiries from customers, regulators, or business community.
• Presents information to top management and boards.
• Solves practical problems with limited standardization.
• Adheres to safety and security procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
