Job summary

Private Advertiser in Ipoh seeks a Head of Test Engineering to lead the global test engineering organization, directing product and test engineering teams from Ipoh. You will define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with business and customer needs, building capabilities for scalable growth.

You will oversee semiconductor test solutions across ATE platforms, drive innovation in testing methodologies, and ensure robust processes for high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years in semiconductor industry.
• Minimum 8–10 years in leadership or senior management roles.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, OSAT or IDM semiconductor operations, advanced packaging and test technologies.
• Leadership of large engineering organizations with multiple customer programs and cross-regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the global test engineering organization.
• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with business and customer requirements.
• Oversee development and optimization of semiconductor test solutions across ATE platforms.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, supply chain, design, and customers to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide high-level technical interface for global customers and manage escalations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, test cost, and cycle time improvements.
• Lead adoption of new technologies, tools, and automation in test engineering.
