Job summary

GSK is seeking a Financial Planning and Forecasting Analyst in Malaysia to provide planning and forecasting support to the Planning & Forecasting Lead and in-market FD. You will finalize monthly and annual forecasts and prepare monthly management reports to support decision making.

Responsibilities include building financial models, variance analysis, and coordinating with business partners to deliver timely reports.

Qualifications

• Professional finance qualifications preferred; 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with corporate team to prepare in-market annual budget and communicate to finance team.
• Create, update and maintain financial models for monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis comparing historical results to budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare internal management reports (DRM decks) for executive leadership.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests and trend analyses for product types.
• Analyse plan vs. actuals, challenge variations, and define growth plans.
• Collaborate with business partners to finalize plans/forecasts/management reports.
• Manage the core commercial cycle and act as the point of contact for reporting questions.
• Drive process improvements for planning & forecasting across markets.
