Job summary

Pyrogen Manufacturing in Malaysia is hiring a Certification Engineer to support international product certification for fire protection portfolio including agents, extinguishers, and pre-engineered systems.

Fresh graduates are welcome; you will coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, and certification bodies to plan tests, prepare technical docs, and manage multiple certification projects across evolving risks such as lithium-ion batteries and energy storage systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science is required or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; exposure to testing, regulatory product certification, or quality systems is a plus.
• Strong documentation discipline and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Ability to communicate with third-party labs and certification bodies.

Responsibilities

• Track timelines and assess change impact on materials, components, and suppliers.
• Interpret certification requirements for agents, extinguishers, and pre-engineered systems.
• Maintain certification files (docs, BOMs, drawings, manuals, SDS, declarations) under ISO 9001/QMS.
• Turn standards into internal checklists for engineering, manufacturing, labeling, and documentation.
• Coordinate testing with internal teams and external labs/certification bodies.
• Ensure traceability and configuration control across records.
• Review reports, flag gaps, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support audits and cross-functional collaboration with certification bodies.
