Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned Finance Leader to oversee the group’s finance and accounting functions, including reporting, budgeting, cash flow and controls. You will manage monthly accounts, statutory compliance, and oversee a finance team across overseas subsidiaries.

The role requires strong English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin skills, with travel as needed. ACCA/CPA qualification is advantageous; 5+ years of managerial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; ACCA/CPA or equivalent advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with managerial experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit and cash flow management.
• Experience in group accounts or multiple entities preferred.
• Familiar with accounting software / ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, responsible and results-oriented.
• Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the group’s overall financial and accounting function including reporting, budgeting, cash flow and controls.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements, budgets, forecasts and analyses.
• Manage audit, taxation, statutory compliance and banking matters.
• Monitor financial performance, profitability, cash flow and working capital; advise Management.
• Develop and improve financial policies, procedures and internal controls for cost management and compliance.
• Provide financial advice on business expansion, investments, risks and strategic decisions.
• Oversee finance for overseas subsidiaries and coordinate inter-company transactions and reporting.
• Lead, manage and develop the Finance team.
• Indicate Indonesia, China, Thailand knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
