Job summary

Private Advertiser, located in Kuantan, Malaysia, seeks an accomplished Finance Leader to direct the Finance and Accounting Department across the group. You will oversee tax, treasury, and compliance, ensuring timely reporting to the head office in Singapore and engagement with regulators and partners.

The role requires 10 years of finance/treasury leadership, strong Malaysian tax knowledge, and the ability to mentor senior staff and interact with group executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or a professional accounting qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA / MIA).
• Minimum 10 years of finance and treasury experience, with proven leadership scope.
• Hands-on experience in managing intercompany and cash flow transactions, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory requirements.
• Proven leadership ability and the maturity to engage with senior stakeholders across the Group.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the Finance and Accounting Department across the company and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee tax and treasury operations, including cash flow planning and forex management.
• Liaise with bankers, tax agents, auditors, government authorities, and other relevant bodies.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to the head office in Singapore.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions and group reporting.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance and accounting team.
