Job summary

CATL is inviting qualified professionals to join our team in Malaysia to drive overseas energy storage solutions. You will collect and analyze technical requirements for ESS projects, design client-specific systems, and prepare competitive bidding documents.

This role emphasizes strong communication with clients and cross-functional collaboration. You should bring a background in engineering, familiarity with energy storage and grid-forming technology, and experience with overseas project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in renewable energy, electrical engineering, power electronics, high-voltage power grid, mechanical and automation, or other science and engineering majors.
• Familiar with renewable energy power generation systems or power transformation and distribution systems.
• Experience in microgrid energy storage system development; familiar with grid-forming PCS technology.
• Familiar with development processes and requirements of energy storage projects in overseas regions.
• 5+ years of experience in energy projects (energy storage, photovoltaic, power generation) preferred.
• Ability to read English technical specifications and papers; proficiency in English (Mandarin a plus).
• Excellent user needs analysis capabilities and customer relationship management skills.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, presentation, execution, and logical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze technical requirements for overseas ESS projects.
• Communicate with clients and design ESS solutions based on client needs; prepare bidding documents.
• Identify technical risks and resolve system issues during project implementation.
• Prepare and negotiate technical agreements.
• Maintain client relationships and explore client needs and information.
• Collect and analyze technical requirements of the local market, transforming them into competitive product demands.
