Job summary

JLL is seeking a Design Project Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead data centre design and construction efforts for clients worldwide. You will coordinate with client teams, consultants and contractors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management/design/engineering/construction management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with design coordination, construction management, and budget/schedule control.

Responsibilities

Provide advice as the authorized representative through all phases of design and construction-related aspects of data centre projects.
Coordinate with client stakeholders, third-party consultants, design consultants, and construction management firms.
Manage and track design packages with the client and third-party contractors.
Coordinate design efforts for domestic and international projects and escalate issues to resolution.
Support contract negotiation with third-party contractors in alignment with the PM and legal counsel.
