Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Customer Service Representative to be the tactical first level contact for order placement and fulfilment for direct and distribution customers.

You will ensure satisfaction and loyalty through clear communication and rapid issue resolution. The role requires 3+ years in customer operations or inside sales within the semiconductor field, fluent English and Chinese, and familiarity with SAP/Model N/Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in customer operations or inside sales in semiconductor
• Customer service process knowledge and focus on delighting customers
• Knowledge of order management systems: SAP, Model N, Oracle
• Fluent in English & Chinese; Japanese a plus
• Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Handle standard order management including expediting, pull-ins, cancellations, and push outs
• Support customer RMA and related FA processes
• Review account bookings, backlog and billing with Sales
• Provide ad-hoc support (sample tracking for distributors, customer questionnaires, EHS/technical matters)
• Partner with Sales to manage Renesas communications with distributors/customers
• Serve as Renesas contact for distributors and Sales on various topics
