Job summary

Jabil Sdn Bhd (Global Business Center) seeks a seasoned professional to develop, implement and measure a Global Commodity Strategy aligned with business units and corporate goals. You will lead commodity strategies, supplier base development, and price management to support supply chain needs.

The role requires deep knowledge of assigned commodities, contract negotiations, and a solid grasp of financials and MRP.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of assigned commodity(s) both technical and commercial
• Contract management and negotiations (Purchase Agreement, Inventory management initiatives etc…)
• Basic finance (understand and evaluate a Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow statement)
• Understanding of MRP
• Know the supply base management teams of assigned commodity(s)
• Cost to manufacture commodity(s) assigned
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and measure a Global Commodity Strategy and Business plan that fully meets the needs of our Business Sectors, BU and Corporation
• Negotiate supplier Contracts
• Analyze market conditions and implement supply chain strategies to assure supply and price competitiveness
• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management
• Establish new measurement systems if/where appropriate
