Job summary

Averis Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Head of Global Infrastructure Operations to design and oversee cloud infrastructure, data centre operations and enterprise networking across the group. You will drive cloud migration, modernisation, and resilience while guiding highly skilled engineers on a global scale.

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure operations, including migration of workloads to Azure, AWS, or multi-cloud environments.
• Oversee global enterprise network operations (WAN, LAN, SD‑WAN, MPLS, VPN).
• Drive infrastructure modernisation with automation and IaC (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible) in a hybrid cloud.
• Ensure 24/7 infrastructure and network availability through monitoring and DR/BC planning.
• Manage data centre operations, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Establish governance and change management aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships with cloud providers, network carriers, MSPs, and OEMs.
• Build and lead a geographically distributed team of cloud engineers and network engineers.
• Collaborate on secure infrastructure design, zero-trust, and cloud security posture management.
• Report KPIs, SLA performance, capacity forecasts, and risk posture to Group IT leadership.
