Job summary

IMA Automation Malaysia Sdn Bhd, part of IMA Group, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects in automation. You will oversee projects from feasibility through installation, with emphasis on technical compliance, cost control, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers, with responsibilities spanning risk management, resource planning, and stakeholder communication across international sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all project phases from order receipt to installation and warranty across sites worldwide.
• Lead or support multiple projects, managing costs, schedules, and resources.
• Plan milestones to meet technical specs, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate project team activities and monitor progress across all phases.
• Identify deviations and risks; implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to steer project direction.
• Provide regular progress reports and forecast costs with Controlling.
• Coordinate monitoring with internal and external stakeholders and drive improvements.
