Job summary

XPENG in Malaysia seeks a seasoned procurement specialist to lead global sourcing of automotive components, with a sharp focus on tariffs, customs regulations, and cross-border trade. You will design country-specific procurement and fulfillment strategies to balance cost, continuity, and compliance.

Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Finance and Legal, you will manage the full supplier lifecycle, drive framework agreements, monitor market trends, and push cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with procurement focus.
• 5–8 years of international procurement and global sourcing experience.
• Strong knowledge of international trade compliance and import/export regulations.
• Proven expertise in procurement strategy development, supplier qualification and negotiations.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin for cross-cultural negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives for automotive components with expertise in tariffs and trade barriers.
• Develop country-specific procurement and fulfillment strategies.
• Manage full supplier lifecycle and cross-functional collaboration with Eng, Quality, PM, Finance and Legal.
• Monitor market intelligence and drive annual cost reductions and framework agreements.
• Identify and mitigate procurement compliance risks and regulatory issues.
• Contribute to development and improvement of procurement processes and long-term sourcing plans.
