Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering, supply chain and manufacturing leader, is offering a Software Development Services (SDS) Intern – Finance GL role in Penang. Work with the GL team on month-end closing and data analytics across regions.

You will assist in data collection, reconciliation, and reporting, and AP processes under a mentor, gaining hands-on experience with accounting concepts and Excel. Mandarin is a plus, and SAP/Power BI familiarity is optional.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Good Excel skills and data awareness.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily GL operations and month-end closing activities for assigned entities/sites under supervision.
• Coordinate collection, preparation and validation of financial data with stakeholders and PICs to ensure completeness and timeliness.
• Assist in data analysis, reconciliations and reporting to support accurate financial records.
• Support finance-related projects, process improvements, and ad hoc assignments as required.
• Assist and support AP processes.
• Adhere to policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities, especially during peak month-end closing periods.
• Participate in training with a dedicated mentor to build professional skills.
