Jabil in Penang, Malaysia invites an Finance Accounts Receivable (AR) Intern to gain hands-on experience across SAP, digital finance tools and business reporting platforms. You will work with regional teams to support invoice processing, reconciliation and reporting under a buddy/mentor.

This internship emphasizes growth in analytical skills, accuracy and confidential handling of financial information while collaborating with cross-functional finance teams and adapting to fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
• Strong interest in accounting operations and financial processes.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency (PivotTable, basic formulas).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy for accounting tasks.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Good organization, following standard processes in day-to-day tasks.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Support invoice preparation, validation, processing and reconciliation.
• Support customer payment matching, reconciliation and account clearing.
• Analyze AR transactions and identify discrepancies, supporting issue resolution.
• Support aging, payment, cash flow and operational reporting.
• Assist in data analytics and reporting documentation by utilizing Excel.
• Collaborate with business and finance teams across different functions and regions.
• Adhere to company policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
• Participate actively in training and development opportunities while working closely with a dedicated buddy/mentor to build automation and process improvement projects, boosting analytical and professional skills
