Job summary

Candidate should have a Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, 3–5 years of experience, and strong English communication. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power BI is required.

• Good knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Job description

This Financial Shared Service GL Accountant position involves various accounting activities related to general ledger transactions. This position reports to Finance service Site Leader. The scope of this position requires working with all operational units and related division accounting departments and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures while maintaining accounting controls.

Key responsibilities

Fixed Assets capitalization and depreciation

AFE / CIP tracking

Lease accounting process

Inventory adjustment and reporting

Other general ledger related accounts booking

Responsible for month end closing and prepare monthly financial statements with supporting schedules

Prepare monthly, quarterly, year-end reports in accordance with group requirements

Prepare financial analysis and reconciliations for management review

Ensure proper internal control procedures complying with regulatory and group's policies

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

3-5 years of operational experience, preferably in Finance/Accounting functions

Good general knowledge of all aspects of general accounting, including US GAAP and local GAAP

Solid written and verbal communication skills in English

Proficient with computers and up to date Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PBI)
