AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a General Ledger Accountant with audit experience to oversee the company’s general ledger, prepare financial statements, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead month-end close, support auditors, and strengthen internal controls while providing insightful financial analysis to management. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience as General Ledger Accountant, with audit firm experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Record, classify, and reconcile all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and identify trends.
• Authorize balance sheet reconciliations and ensure account accuracy.
• Lead and authorize month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review and approve financial reports for management and statutory purposes.
• Implement and enforce internal controls over GL transactions.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements for GL operations.

A General Ledger (GL) Accountant with audit experience will manage the company's general ledger, prepare financial statements, and ensure regulatory compliance, leveraging their audit experience to improve internal controls and support auditors.

Key responsibilities

Record, classify, and reconcile all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner

Create and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards and that accounting procedures are followed

Collaborate with and support both internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights

Analyse financial data to provide insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and identify trends

Authorize balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounts

Lead and authorize month-end and year-end closing activities

Review and approve financial reports for management and statutory purposes

About you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Significant experience as a General Ledger Accountant, particularly with experience in audit firm
