Responsibilities

• Preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Maintaining and balancing accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries
• Summarizing financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Completing internal audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
• Avoiding legal challenges by complying with legal requirements, including filing financial reports and preparing tax returns
• Securing financial information by completing database backups
• Supporting month-end and year-end close process
• Developing and implementing accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
