Responsibilities

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by analyzing accounts.
• Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts and preparing a trial balance.
• Summarize financial status by preparing balance sheets, P&L statements, and other reports.
• Assist internal audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including filing financial reports and tax returns.
• Secure financial information by performing database backups.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current processes and recommending improvements.

Preparing and recording asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
