Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a diligent Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations in Malaysia. The role covers Billing, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Revenue Recognition, with a focus on accuracy and process discipline.

You will oversee monthly closings, variance analysis, and the preparation of regulatory reports, coordinating with auditors and banks to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance. Strong internal controls and system maintenance are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including Billing, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Revenue Recognition.
• Monitor monthly cost variances.
• Prepare and circulate monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting preparation.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close with auditors and bankers.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Develop and document accounting processes and internal controls.
• Hold responsibility for the accounting system and related maintenance.

Job description
