Job summary

Coherent Malaysia in Ipoh is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to ensure high equipment uptime for Front of Line machines and fixtures. The role requires coordinating with the in-house automation team for new equipment buy-off and installation, and working with process engineering to improve yield, while maintaining ISO maintenance records.

You will emphasize safety, pass down unfinished tasks, and strive to meet KPI targets set by the section manager in a fast-paced, high-mix, high-volume

Qualifications

• Diploma of Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in testers or equipment configuring and troubleshooting.
• Experience in tester debug or verification.
• Experienced working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Good computer literacy and basic SPC knowledge.
• Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
• Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
