Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer / Technical Engineer to contribute to proposals, tender submissions, and documentation. The role involves developing preliminary engineering solutions and drawings and supporting design using AutoCAD, Plaxis, Talren, GeoSlope, and Rockscience.

You will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate tender activities and ensure smooth handover of projects. A degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience is

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering / M.Tech (Geotechnical) or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, proposal, or Business Development support.
Exposure to tender, technical submissions, or client coordination.
Experience with contractors/consultants/developers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Prepare technical proposals and submissions.
Prepare costing, quotation and documentation.
Develop preliminary engineering solutions and drawings.
Support design using relevant engineering/MS softwares such as AutoCad, Plaxis, Talren, GeoSlope, Rockscience, and other related tools.
Work closely with internal teams (estimating, technical, legal) and coordinate with internal teams and support project handover.
