Job summary

Foil Laminate Industries in Malaysia is seeking a production assistant to support operators in daily production activities and to ensure adherence to work instructions and SOPs. This role involves handling materials within the production area and assisting in general production tasks.

The position covers loading/unloading of materials, packing and labeling finished goods, basic sorting and visual inspection, and maintaining workplace cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators in daily production activities according to work instructions and SOP.
• Perform loading and unloading of raw materials, finished goods and production materials.
• Assist in moving and arranging materials within the production area.
• Perform packing, labeling and handling of finished products.
• Conduct basic sorting and visual inspection of products as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the workplace.
• Assist with machine cleaning and basic production area cleaning.
• Follow all safety, quality and company procedures.
• Wear and maintain the required PPE while working in the production area.
• Report damaged materials, product defects, unsafe conditions or other abnormalities to the Supervisor/Leader.
• Assist operators during machine setup, changeover or production activities when required.
• Ensure tools, materials and work areas are properly arranged after work.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or HOD from time to time.
